Sensei John Lowrie

Sensei John Lowrie began his karate training in Tashu Karate in 1973 under the founding instructor, James MacArthur. When his profession took him to Spokane, Washington Sensei Lowrie began training in Goju-Ryu karate under Sensei Teruo Chinen.

Upon his return to the Vancouver area in 1995 Sensei Lowrie founded the Sungod Karate Club in North Delta.

Currently a 4th degree Black Belt Sensei Lowrie has over 15 years of experience teaching karate to children. Sensei John is in charge of the Karate-Tots program as well as being a dedicated father to his own four children
